Health tips for autumn
Autumn marks a significant shift in nature, a pivot point from a more active to a more passive phase of the year. In the Chinese calendar, autumn begins before the autumnal equinox; we discuss this in more detail here.
You can live in tune with autumn by:
Going to bed and arising early
Practicing breathing exercises to help you feel calm and peaceful
Avoiding smoking
Reining in your focus
Consuming oats, millet, corn, rice, carrots, leeks, radishes, cauliflower, beef, lamb, and other warming and mildly acrid/pungent foods
